DO I KNOW THE PERSON IN THE MIRROR??
Looking in the Mirror
When we look in the mirror, who is it that we see looking back at us ?? Is it someone we know & like ?? Or someone we no longer know & have grown to dislike ( & maybe even disown !! ) ?? Is it someone broken and defective due to illness ?? Or is it someone good and decent in spite of life's trials ??
Ideally, ..... we see ourselves for who & what we really are – with all of our strengths and shortcomings, with our abilities and limitations, all of our pluses & our minuses. Ideally, ..... we see someone who has grown to accept, to like & then to love, the person we see in the mirror, him-or-herself [ illness and all ].
When I look in the mirror today, who & what do I see looking back at me ??
