We don’t understand sin
Something is wrong when words are considered a sin but abortion is legal. Even though the bible says God hates the shedding of innocent blood. Even though nowhere in scripture does someone cuss and Jesus tells him to stop or God through the prophets lets His children know that He is unhappy with their language. We don’t teach sin like it is a poor choice of action that we can avoid. We teach sin like it is something we all do that God sent Jesus to atone for. Jesus says in John 14:15 that if you love Him then you will keep His commandments. Jesus says He is the way, the truth, and the life. Yet somehow we think a relationship with God is possible while we ignore every sermon Christ preached, parable He taught, and miracle He performed. We are too sin conscience. This is not necessary because God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world: But that through Him the world would be saved. With abortion and same sex marriage being legal, and drugs being legalized, we should not point fingers.
