What kind of an 'ist' does this little gem make me? Don't say r****t. That one is worn out. Come up with something new! I'm working on my resume.

C'mon Archie. "This little gem" pretty much compares b****s to apes, and further implies that the apes behave better. And its subtle reference is to the race, not an individual group of people. It appears pretty r****t to me.
I can believe you actually do not consider yourself a r****t. My mother didn't either but she still used the word "jiggaboo".
R****m is sometimes subtle, and it's so institutionalized that we often cannot see it in ourselves (I've had to check my very liberal self many times over the years.)

Indeed I agree AuntiE...way too much over-hype by the media. I guess I just didn't get the post as parody, which is likely one of the drawbacks of
communication that doesn't happen in person.

Sometimes it not being an in-person thing can distort things. We are working diligently to have you remember CA is NOT the only place or mindset.
