One of several character flaws that Trump shares with Hillary and Obama that Trump must address if he's to be a better than awful POTUS.

Cupp is correct. Trump's charity is a wonderful thing. But it's not the Press' role to throw him a ticker-tape parade when he does something good.

It's hard to image a President that sits back waiting for people to praise him... Wait, not it isn't.. I just have to look at Obama.

CNN’s S.E. Cupp: Trump Is ‘Fundamentally Confused About the Role of Free Press’
by Josh Feldman | 6:33 pm, May 31st, 2016

At his big presser to address his donations to vets’ groups today, Donald Trump complained that the media is being “nasty” and isn’t giving him credit for giving the money. But as CNN’s S.E. Cupp explained earlier tonight, that’s not how this works.

She said that while Trump might complain, it’s actually the role of the press to ask tough questions of people running for the highest office in the land, and not––as Trump would like––say “thank you” to him for doing a good thing.

“That’s not the role of the media,” Cupp said, “to thank the p**********l nominee for raising money. It’s not the job of the media to heap praise upon him.”

She concluded that the GOP p**********l nominee is “fundamentally confused about the role of free press.”
