Have you noticed at the recent incidence of Police Brutality and Misconduct is the absence and silence of White Civil Rights Activists although primarily it was their deaths which put the Civil Rights Movement in Public View. Have you heard any voices of White Civil Rights Activists lately? This represents a trend which I'm willing to discuss. Do the power brokers want to make it something other than an equal justice issue?
We are certainly losing the rhetoric skirmish when we ignore that crime is a monetary issue and not a race fight. Poverty not minority status creates hopelessness.

1. White allies have not gone anywhere. I believe that the focus on other areas of work have diminished vocal support. Look at rallies, though... go to a NAACP meeting. There are many people who see how much work needs to be done.
2. The idea that race is the cause of violence is erroneous; the lack of financial security and options in life choices is the reason for chaos and violence.
