Living in Chicago and very close to Lake Michigan, that looks more like a beach than Lake,I found this interesting..

I did a 21 mile road trip starting in the UP of Michigan, visiting a good number of waterfalls all the way up..Absolutely beautiful to see Mother Nature in that realm...All streaming off Lake Superior..Cold, clear water that invigorates just to touch ...Memories for sure..Some close off the road, some you had to walk through the woods to get to and every single one of them worth it!!!

Of course starting out from Mackinac Island, it was a trip to remember for sure....If you've never been, you should, at least once...
