I've had cats before, but none of them ever owned ME! They were outdoor cats. I'd let them in at night and give them something to eat, though they were all champion mousers. They wanted their ears scratched, and their tummy's rubbed, and it helped my Blood pressure. I think we both knew not to expect more, and were content with the arrangement.
Yep, and it is classier than 'staff'.

Obviously the dogs where responding to the whistle not the conversation. What people will do to get on youtube!

Can you prove they used a whistle. I am aware that (supposedly) we can't hear it. BUT I have a cat presently and had one in the past that enjoyed conversations with me. These conversations could go on for quite a period of time. I recall one in the past, when I called his name and he was down the lane, he constantly called to let me know he was coming. If your "whistle" idea were true, why didn't the other respond as well?
