The CEO of McDonalds fast food chain, Steve Easterbrook, was pleased to announce that driven by higher wages and a growing economy profits are up, employee turnover is lower, and customer satisfaction scores are up. So much for the GOP and there lies that higher wages, employee benefits, healthcare, are business k**lers.

I would rather listen to Easterbrook than the i***ts on OPP that listen to right wing hacks.

Last year McDonalds raised wages for over 90,000 employees, provided incentives and benefit packages. McDonalds min wage will be between $12 and $21 by 2016. That's even higher than what Obama proposed.

McDonald's invested invested in a program for there employees. (Archway To Opportunity) which help employees on a pathway to success.

Improve English Sk**ls, earn a high school diploma, work towards a college degree, over 5,000 employees enrolled.

This is a perfect example of what Obama has been trying to do and have been obstructed by the GOP and the Super PAC ALEC that is controlled by the Koch brothers. Like Obama says invest in the American workers and your profits will rise.

Let's stop listening to job k**lers on min wages here is proof that it works.

You do know that prices are going to skyrocket, in order to pay for all of that, right? Nothing is free. Something liberals never seen to be able to wrap their minds around. Watch what happens to the prices of burgers. Just wait and watch. It's coming. Then the lay-offs, and then the automated fast food joints.

How much more did you pay for a hamburger at McDonalds last year. The min wage being raised to $10.10 per hour has no impact on there bottom line. Do you realize how much money McDonalds saved by not having to train new employees, can you rap your arms around that. Prices are not going to skyrocket by giving America a raise. But it will grow the economy with an influx of more expendable income being spent. What you republicans fail to realize that income in e******y is still growing. But you blame Obama. Why should the rich get richer and the poor and middle class get nothing. But you fail to understand the economy grows from the bottom up not from the top down. With a min wage at $10.10 an hour and the tax breaks for the middle class obstructed by the GOP slowed the economy. But the rich get richer. So your trickle down economics did not work because it never trickled down. Rap your arms around that. So continue with your agenda of destroying the collective bargaining process and watch income in e******y widen. Your legislators want wage and and price control turned over to the corporate elite and then deregulate. Rap your arms around that.
