Observations for 6/3/16

No doubt you've seen movies, or read stories about how the haze hangs over the moors in England's countryside. This morning the haze hung in the trees giving them a mysterious, mystical appearance. It carries your imagination to another place, a place where you feel lost in time. Slowly the morning light begins to dissipate the haze, and you return to the deck, just appreciating your morning revere. Everything is so still, so peaceful, time to start a new day.

Today is another lonely day for UncleJesse. After everyone leaves and returns to their various endeavors, you find yourself going through the fog alone. You need that alone time to gather your memories, time to heal. We keep you in prayer, Jesse. Take your time to find your way, and know that there are people available to help advise you, and walk you through your valley. Know that the Lord walks with you.

May each of us become a strong reinforcement network of believers, ready to lift the other up. As a team, we will climb higher, and be stronger. The spiritual strength, in the book of Acts, came about by joint effort. Each light shines brighter when it can add to the light of someone near them. Dear Lord, walk with each of us today, draw us close into Your network of Christian fellowship. This we ask in Jesus name. Amen

Verse of the Day for Friday June 3rd, 2016:

Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? — Romans 6:3

Thoughts on Today's Verse....

More than an outward symbol, baptism is coming to the core of the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and sharing in it by grace (Romans 6:1-15). What an incredible blessing to be able to do what Jesus did at the beginning of his ministry to please God (Luke 3:21-22), and also know that through our faith in God's power to raise him from the dead, our lives can be joined with his until we can share fully in his glory! (Colossians 2:12; 3:1-4).

My Prayer...

Loving Father, thank you for your grace. Thank you for raising Jesus from death. Thank you for letting me share in that resurrection through faith. Thank you for the assurance I have of sharing in his glory. Thank you for letting me be your beloved child, with whom you are well pleased. Thank you in Jesus' name. Amen.

This describes liberals – and especially liberal “millennials” – perfectly. Too many left-wingers in the work force have a sense of entitlement, because they were falsely taught the world owes them something. The horrible public education system helped create this serious problem.

Verse of the Day for Saturday June 4th, 2016:

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. — Ephesians 6:4

Thoughts on Today's Verse....

Malachi 4:6 promised that fathers and children would be reunited in heart. Let's make that true in our homes by nurturing and correcting our children — with a balance between nurture and correction. Let's not make our faith so full of rules and restrictions that it becomes impossible for our children to hear that they are our beloved children, with whom we are very pleased! Let's not grant so much freedom that our children feel neglected and uncertain. Let's turn our hearts toward them and pray for God to turn their hearts toward their home with us and their home with you!

My Prayer...

O Lord God Almighty, Abba Father, our land lies under a curse because so many Fathers have spiritually and physically abandoned their children. Please raise up parents, especially fathers, who will balance the challenging tasks of love, nurture, and correction so that our land may be healed and our children may know your love and grace. In Jesus name. Amen.

Amen and Amen especially in the ones on welfare where they have been made dependent on the government instead of God. This is the democrats way of enslaving people and destroying them all at the same time. The old time black family was one of the solidest to be found when they were persecuted and they stood against the world but when they offered them welfare they sold their very souls as it were. After all was it not LBJ that made the famous quote about having b****s v****g democrat for the next 200 years.

It was LBJ, along with a few of his cuss words to describe b****s. Actually, Republicans were the driving force behind positive legislation for b****s, but Democrats have been masterful in usurping the message to make it look like they are the 'saviors,' and Republicans have stood by letting it be turned around on them.

The really sad thing about that, welfare came along to encourage the father figure to disappear, and with him (in most cases) went direction particularly for young black males. What did they do, turn to gangs for that leadership, sense of belonging.

Yes a sad state of affairs for welfare moms with children and republicans still stand idly by and not helping the black community by changing the laws to allow for a father in the home and a married couple on welfare. Black families at one time had a wonderful home life and many were Christian and had strong families.

Welfare is r****d to break-up families, encourage unwed mothers to have babies they aren't prepared to care for, and may not want to care for. It's high time some Republicans start to point that out, and push for a maintenance check to help the working poor stay together as a family. We sure do it for i******s.
