I do believe this is from the movie "Hatari." You might want to see if it's being replayed in your area. Baby elephants are really cute. It takes schooling for them to be able to handle their trunks but their inquisitiveness is just as pronounced as in any other little one growing up.
My cat, Galena (because of her color) just gave birth to four of her own. They're just two days old and one has already "fled the coop" (a small-dog sized carrier). I'll have to place some cardboard in the entrance so he can't escape again. She had a tough time because this was her first litter and, more than anything, she was scared and let out one heckova yell each time. But she's handling them well. She is truly an emancipated female - she visits them about once every hour and the rest of the time is her own. The first one I picked up caused her to check me out and, when she found I placed them back, I can now handle them all - no complaints or investigations.

You are right about this coming from Hatari as it surely did. Here Mancini is playing it live.
