To this day satan's spirit has been going to and fro, looking at our lives and reporting to God that were failing to do good, or falling short. In Rev. 12:10 it states " and I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Job 1:11 satan says that if God would remove His protection from Job that he would curse God. Satan doesn't want anyone to make it back to heaven and is willing to use his remaining strength to work against Gods will, little does he know is that God uses evil for His plan of salvation of his children who love Him.
In Mark 3:2 it talks about the "they" and how they might accuse Him - Christ. Those "they" are the sons of the first murderer, John 8:44. But God before the 1000 years or the millennium begins, satan will be "fenced in" so he won't influence the second fruits that didn't make it up to heaven the first time. This is the "seal" as in Rev. 20:3. As a second witness in Gods word, in Isaiah 14:16 the man "satan" is in the pit and "they" - us are looking at him narrowly, and asking, is this the man who destroyed cities, after the 1000 years, satan will be released to see who will follow satan. I'm sure many will still follow the devil for they are corrupted, and if you don't care for God and have many things and live well that means possibly that satan has you in his pocket, and he's chasing the ones he hasn't got, and that's Gods children. Beware.

After looking at the world and now America I would say he is doing a bang up job in deceiving many.

Yes unfortunately, God says many will perish for their lack of knowledge, because He says come and let us reason together, on His promises that he has made to us, many don't study the bible so they don't know the depths of God and His Savior. Gods children stand on the promises of God.
