Gatsby, I, too, have wondered why it is taking so long. However, we all should consider the probable stonewalling and obstruction by the administration. While Obama may not like the Clinton's, he loves his position, and he damn well knows that this thing can only get bigger. Watergate was sandbox play compared to the insinuations of the breach of national security.
And, since Obama controls the DOJ, and the media is reluctant to do investigative journalism, and, in fact, avoids reporting on this, it is not surprising the delays.

Consider the gravity of the situation. Here is a former senator, former Sec. State who, if justice prevails, is facing what essentially could be a lifetime in prison if convicted. Add to that, she is the presumptive Democrat nominee for president?
I can't even imagine the legal/political wrangling that must be going on. Let alone, the ties to the foundation which should land many people in jail. There is no getting around this.

Either way it ends up, the stain on America will be massive. As it goes, the initial criminal activity was one thing.....But, it appears to have blossomed into a labyrinth of deception, each lie compounding the previous lie.

Personally, I would not shed a tear should Hillary, Bill, Chelsea, Sydney, et al, end up in jail. In fact, I think this would be good for America and our political system. Yes....Laws do matter. Laws are made by politicians for all...Let them live by what they have written. Our country is too great to allow the scum like Obama and Hillary to lord over us. Yes, they are scum.

I can only hope Comey does as he says. Loretta Lynch will do as she will....And I think we all know what that is going to be.
The pressure may be too great to not prosecute.....But, the path of corruption leads to one place...Obama.....

All very true harpooner, a case this serious requires far more than a preponderance of evidence to bring charges,

it will likely require proof beyond any Shadow of a doubt to bring an indictment. To bring such charges, and fail

to get a conviction (or p**********l pardon) would immediately and permanently end the careers of many in the DOJ.

What is taking so long?

The FBI Director James Comey recently said that regarding any investigation they have two goals. Speed and accuracy. If it comes down to a choice, they always opt out for accuracy.

Clinton really insulted Comey and the FBI when she called them small potatoes or otherwise minimized them. Comey owes no one and has no political affiliation. And he knows the FBI reputation is at stake.

I think he is preparing a case Lynch cannot dodge.
