We're supposed to be working together as a country, but walls they build between us keep getting bigger and new ones are sprouting up all the time.
They are trying to take US out of the U.S.
Our v**es would count if those elected were accountable for anything they say or promise.
Polls are just fuel for the lies and promises that follow.

Well, it stands to reason you know. I wonder why the folks on the board of say, General Dynamics ( the folks that build our Subs ), don't give their top executives the authority to set their own work hours, vacations, benefits and pay, do their own performance evaluations, job descriptions and the like? Probably because they know these executives would quickly ruin their company and syphon off all it's wealth and value. So, that's why they retain the authority to fire or otherwise discipline their employees, rather than relying on their oaths of loyalty or work ethic. On paper, "we the people" are on the board of the US Government, but we have allowed our employees to set their own pay and benefits, set their own work hours, vacations, bonuses, do their own performance evaluations and make their own job description.

Our executives are ruining our country, syphoning of it's wealth and value - which is entirely predictable. That's what we get for relying on them to keep their oaths of office and relying on their work ethic.

ipnmajor Then why have these bureaucrats at all? Is there a way to really hold them accountable?
