I recall taking my two oldest boys river canoeing. At times I would get out an walk the bank letting the kids paddle alone. Lots of shouting and cussing while
I watched the canoe first go into one bank only to get turned around and go into the other, quite a show and lots of laughs. But I got to thinking that
this looks a lot like the operation of our government. I became an independent! Now I sit in the middle hoping the parties will get a little closer but I have
doubts about that. Extremes either right or left are problem causers.
