Listen to this and try to support Muslim activity in our country. I think there is lots of t***h in it and will follow it with another that some may not understand. Lets just keep hoping that the liberals haven't taken enough power here to put us where the Aussies seem to be.

Try this one that we will soon have to worry about. How many schools in the upper US have had trouble with Muslims over halal? What is that halal, anyway? If you know tell me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiOTso4RzUU

For those who don't know, the tune here is 'Waltzing Matilda' an old Australian folk song that everybody in Australia can sing. I get the whole thing a lot better after researching the words of the real song.

As far as I know and have heard the halal for meat is from animals that are k**led by the priests or wh**ever group of muslims that k**l the animals by slitting their throats and let them bleed out. It can take up to five minutes and sometimes more for these animals to bleed out and all they can do is cry out in pain during the process.

The halal on the other foods is basically extortion payed to the muslims for blessing this or that product and a lot of food companies have had to hire muslims to bless their product and of course they have to pay these priests to bless their product and then some of the money from the product goes to the muslims. I left the m lower case as I am not going to capitalize the word.

Halal means food that has been treated according to religious law. The term "halal free" is the epitome of ignorance. Everything in the store that is halal free is everything else. It can be considered the equivalent of "kosher." Have you ever seen an icon that says "kosher free?" Does kosher food disturb you?

In Australia its the same as a tax. It's coming here Alice.
Google (what does halal certification cost ).
And for Christ sake, pay attention.

Soon to be in a supermarket near you.
Your tax dollars payed for and collected by your Mussie neighbor.
FOR NOTHING BUT A WORTHLESS STAMP.

I think that Bahmer beat you to it when he explained what halal meat is. I have seen that too many times and places for what he says to be wrong.

As for non-food items I would guess that you didn't watch my video where the singer talked about halal tampons and cat food. Yep, halal is a tax that Muslims do collect there on all kinds of things in food stores.

Nice try, but you libs just don't make it too often when you try to stand up for Muslims.

Kosher refers to meats and foods only and they the kosher foods must conform to the Torah in the old testament. Not only is the k**led in a certain manner but it must be of a certain type animal to be kosher the meat is then treated in a certain manner to remove all of the blood from the meat. Kosher also refers to certain fowl and they are again the ones allowed in the Torah. Fish are also covered there as well. Fish must have scales for one thing. Eggs from chickens, ducks and geese are permissible but must not contain any blood in them. You won't find kosher tampons or non food items. Kosher is not a tax to the Jewish faith it is more of a certification of the fact that the meats and foods that are kosher conform to the Torah more than anything else. Kosher also stipulates how you prepare foods and what can go with what. They do not serve dairy with meat therefore cheeseburgers are forbidden.

Thanks for trying to help Alicia understand kosher. She doesn't know much about halal, for some reason, but then most left leaners have a tendency to try to help the Muslims and the way they bleed animals alive and then call a tax on what they want or do halal. They don't understand that halal means cutting animal's throats while they are still completely alive and the pain they must feel in bleeding to death. Nice try but I doubt that any one of them understand what you have been saying.

All I can do is try, and there are videos out there if one cares to look for them, but then again it would require some effort.

I know that you are right but am not going to do the research for those who are too lazy to do it themselves.

I was aware of the kosher food restrictions. I lived in Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn. I don't believe that the delis ever served milk. Cream soda or seltzer were the preferred liquids.

I did say I lived in Jewish neighborhoods. I was taught in my youth that kosher utilized bleeding the animal and the k*****g was overseen by a Rabbi. Also, in my youth, everyone I knew purchased their chickens and other fowl from the chicken market that used the same method. I do recall seeing the chickens h*****g and their blood being collected in a trough. Don't believe I ever met a Muslim. Considering that I am now living in a Texas city, I don't believe I'll come across halal. Thanks for the information about the tax.

I have seen Muslims but never, met one. As for catching the blood of chickens, I think it would take a bunch of them to bleed much blood. I raised the chickens from tiny chicks for my mother when I was young and helped her butcher them and just didn't ever see a lot of blood.

Thanks for sounding so left leaning and then apologizing, at times.
