Why is Friday the 13th unlucky?

On Friday, October the 13th, in the year 1307, King Philip IV of France decided on a time honored way of getting out of paying his bills. He k**led the people to whom he owed money. It seems that old Phil, who was a typically French military leader, borrowed a bunch of money from the Knights Templar to start a war in which he got his ass kicked, like the French usually do. He then had the people who loaned him the money, (the Templars ), arrested on trumped up, f**e charges, and executed, then confiscated their estates. Ever since, Friday the 13th has been considered unlucky, especially if you are a Templar.

Damn! Glad I saw this!! I'm leaving right now to go k**l the electric company! They are the only people that I owe at the moment. Damn their bad luck!!
It will take a while for me to get to all of the i******s, and flat asser's who think that I owe them. I'll work on it though.

1). You ain't a French King.
2). You gotta get them excommunicated first and they might not be Catholic.
3). Most wetbacks ARE Catholic, so your idea may have some merit, now that I think on it.

I have had Spanish, but not Portuguese food that I know of. I love sea food! We just don't get it fresh up here in the panhandle though. I know of one little place that has it flown in daily, and it is always hammered!
