I was reading on one of Rayon's favorite sites this morning and found this weak piece of crap about why we have to get rid of all guns. I noticed very early in the piece that it must have been a 100 round magazine that was used in the piece that k**led all those kids in Connecticut that day. That author made a statement about firing 200 rounds per minute with those 100 round magazines. I bet Raylon really believes all this kind of trash.

After the Sandy Hook tragedy our legislators in Colorado passed very unpopular gun laws. Of which one was to limit a gun to 15 rounds. One legislator DeGette made the comment that after the 15 rounds were used up the clip would be of no use. Unknowing to her that the clips could be reloaded. We had legislators ignorant about weapons but were making laws to limit them.
The weapons bill originator was recalled (a first in Colorado) along with another representative. A third was going to get recalled but resigned so the Senate could keep its democratic majority.

Anyway those little thing-a-ma-bobs that hold ammo are mags. Not clips. An average person could easily carry 14 , 15rd

There were 8 round clips for the M-1, I have several with WW2 cartridges in them. Being a tad slow in loading is how you got M-1 thumb.....

Yup now that's a clip and yup there were no doubt many swollen and beat up right thumb's . I've fired Them. Excellent shooting rifle . Loads of energy even at longer ranges.Never carried one. M-14's ,16's and 203's where what I carried.

M-14 was mine. We has M-16's but I never carried one, as they went to RVN, and I went to Ft. Carson, where the Pentagon's computer seems to have forgotten me.

My first was an m-1 they changed to the M-14. The one I ended up with was the XM21 Sniper weapon system. I was an in-country Sniper/instructor during The Vietnam war. The XM21 was a national match modified M14 with a Redfield 3-9 power scope with a built in ballistic cam. We developed it at Ft. Benning. You guys have a great day and Thanks to all for your service.
