Thanks Don, it sure brings back memories to a simpler time here in the good old USA. Things were slower, and times were great, and so were the cars.

The depressing thing is, I've owned or at least driven most of those cars when they were new, or near new.

At least you were able to identify their make without having to look at the nameplate.

My favorites 1957 & 58 Desotos & Chryslers --- None shown in video. I had 3 0f them & turned 2 into radical customs

Never could figure why 57 chevy was more popular. Maybe it was the gas hog 392 hemi, but gas was 25 centa a gallon then.

We 1srt Wed, we drove a 641/2 Red Ford Mustang convertible with white interior. Rally pack, 4 on the floor stick, 289 engine. Paid $2600 for it. A leased car traded in... Wish I had kept her...

Had a damn Pontiac GTO on my azz once. Stomped her and that GTO passed me like I was backing up. Sounded like a wildcat when she sucked me up her tailpipe... Dam those GTO's were "' HOT"'...

My first car was a Henry J (if you remember what that was) with a full race Merc engine in it. I think I kept the company making Bendixes in business for a while cuz they left the Henry J flywheel in it.
