Little League baseball...
At one point during a game, the coach called one of his 9-year-old baseball players aside and asked, "Do you understand what co-operation is? What a team is?"
"Yes, coach," replied the little boy.
"Do you understand that what matters is whether we win or lose together as a team?"
The little boy nodded in the affirmative.
"So," the coach continued, "I'm sure you know, when an out is called, you shouldn't argue, curse, attack the umpire, or call him a pecker-head, dickhead or asshole. Do you understand all that?"
Again, the little boy nodded in the affirmative.
The coach continued, "And when I take you out of the game so that another boy gets a chance to play, it's not good sportsmanship to call your coach a dumb ass or s**thead is it?"
"No, coach."
"Good," said the coach. "Now go over there and explain all that to your grandmother!"

having been a little league coach
I can laugh
because I have been there
I was a basketball coach for a 12&13 y.o. division. Had one parent , that was so foul mouthed that some of the other parents were pulling their kids out of the league. He was eventually banned from the games, but his kid was so embarrassed by his dad that he later dropped out too.

Yep, and I enjoyed the hell out of coaching. Kids today have it made. They make the team no matter what. When I played little league, you had to try out for the team. If you weren't any good you didn't make the team. Hell, I can remember some kids never getting into a game at all back when I played. Now, the PC crowd has ruined it as far as I'm concerned. Every kid has to play at least 2 innings and have a turn at bat. I coached a few kids that had no clue what they were doing. I think I was more or less a baby sitter for them.
I coached my 2 boys for many years, and you had to try out, now you get a trophy just because of the cry baby parents.
