In the book Starship Troopers, the protagonist lived in a future Earth where only citizens were allowed to v**e. In order to be a citizen, you had to have served in the military. I like this idea for a number of reasons. Mostly because people who depend on the government to support them would not be allowed to v**e. I******s would not be allowed to v**e either. We also would not have many liberals v****g, since most who join the military are conservative or independent. What do you think?

Works for me. People who are supported by the government should have no right to v**e.

Tell me about it. That's no different than allowing the accused to sit on the jury.
