The Bible
Even though the Bible begins with the Torah the first book written was Job. It was written by Moses. The Torah or Pentateuch compose the first five books of the Bible; Geneses, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. After Moses died Joshua became leader. The Pentateuch is followed by Joshua. As long as the children had a leader they did okay. When they had no leadership they didn’t follow God’s instructions, and the society crumbled like it is doing today. After Joshua dies you can’t get out of the first chapter of Judges and see the society start to lose itself. We used to have leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King and Malcolm X but now we have Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. The books from Ruth to Ester are in order. Chronicles restate the history from the beginning but only covers the kings of Judah and goes to the ordering of the rebuilding of the temple. Ezra and Nehemiah are about the rebuilding of the temple that was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar. Esther occurs after the temple has been destroyed. After Job comes Psalms. There are 150 Psalms; 73 written by David, 40 written by an unknown author, 12 by Asaph, 10 each by the sons of Korah and songs of assents, 2 by Solomon, and 1 by Moses, Heman, and Ethan. When Solomon became king after David, God wanted to give Solomon a gift. Solomon must have felt intimidated ruling over men older, stronger, and wiser than himself and asked God for wisdom. God was so pleased that he asked for something spiritual and not physical that He gave Solomon wisdom and wealth. Solomon wrote three wisdom books; Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Song of Solomon, (which is the least understood book of the bible. After Solomon’s writings, (which is really wisdom from God), there are 4 Major and 12 Minor Prophets. There is knowledge revealed to the prophets that Jesus never talked about. Jeremiah also wrote the book of Lamentations which is immediately after Jeremiah. That completes the Old Testament. The New Testament begins with books that contain words from Jesus. Somehow people believe that Jesus is their lord and savior while they disregard every sermon He preached, parable He taught, and miracle He performed. Well satan deceives the whole world and no one seems to notice that this society is condemning normal relationships and legalizing gay marriage. If an abortion were performed on a dog the doctor would be arrested. Wisdom is justified by her children. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are all about the life of Jesus. Acts is about what happened to the disciples as they followed in Christ footsteps. Now we expect disciples of Christ to have lives with no tribulation. Romans to Philemon are written by Paul. Hebrews author is unknown. When the translators were commissioned by King James to collect all writings and put them into one book, they had a dilemma. It was decided that to be included in the new testament the writers had to have met Jesus. They didn’t know who wrote Hebrews but the writings fit in scripture. They solved the dilemma by saying Paul wrote it and then recanting after the book had been included. And then we have James, Peter, John and Jude. James and Jude were ½ brothers of Jesus. Jude’s name was Judas. Because of Judas Iscariot his name was changed to Jude. Revelation was written by John. That’s the whole bible. The only disciples who wrote books were Matthew, John and Peter. I believe God chose Paul to replace Judas even though the disciples chose Matthias. This is the only time his name is mentioned. Paul wrote around 2/3 of the new testament.

No, that is your opinion, probably formed from what little you learned in college.

You have done no research and are taught by the unlearned. Jesus calls it blind leading blind.

True, I did learn to reason in College, but I am willing to bet it is closer to fact than anything your opinion has led you to...

Moses was a prince of Egypt and the ten commandments follow the laws of Ma'at. Read the bible. All the laws are developed to govern man. So in whose interest is it that man is governed--go or a King? The only reason god comes into play is so he can be used as a threat if people don't do as they are told.

Read Exodus 31:18. Moses didn't write the 10 commandments, God did.

According to Moses god wrote the ten commandments, which by coincidence, are just like the Egyptian laws of Ma'at. If god wanted the story to be believable he would have sent up the mountain someone who was illiterate and unaware of Egyptian law. Instead, he sent up the mountain the one man who was literate and well versed in Egyptian law. Sorry Fred, all you have is hearsay and not very believable hearsay at that....

Why would theft and murder be permissible? You honestly think that a book is the only thing that keeps us from mayhem don't you. You've proven my point Fredie, you've proven my point...

If I have proven your point will you explain it? If we followed the book what happened in Ferguson, Missouri wouldn't happen. An entire city loots stores because a criminal they didn't know was killed by the police while committing a crime.
