On September 11,2001 , Terrorists brought down the World Trade Center. It is estimated that cost American,taxpayers over 22 billion dollars. Ted Cruz and his GOP, cohorts instigated a Government Shutdown that has cost 24 billion taxpayer dollars.

This egomaniacle,i***t from Texas is clearly a threat to the well being of this nation. Texas has a history of inflicting these morons on the nation. ( Think GW Bush,Ghomert,Perry,etc.)

If you are going to pontificate you can at least get your facts correct. Ted Cruz correctly pointed out that Obamacare was not about health care but about control. The republicans in the House passed individual resolutions to fund every single government agency except for Obamacare. Harry Reid would not allow any of those to come to the senate floor for a v**e. The president said, "I will not negotiate on Obamacare." The government was shut down by Harry Reid and our boy President who throws a tantrum every time someone disagrees with him. It is quite simple. If you want government to take care of you from cradle to grave because you cannot take care of yourself, v**e democrat. Conversely, if you want to be self reliant, assist those who are disabled or truly in need, think for yourself, are for less spending and lower taxes, then v**e republican. Ted Cruz wanted the individual mandate delayed for one year. Now we find that at least 10 democrats in the Senate agree with him. Of course, I realize that this is a ploy on their part because if they are re-elected they will go right back to being a know-it-all, tax and spend democrat. As Dr. Paul put it, "democrats have big hearts but small brains." Good Luck America!!!

How did it cost $24 billion dollars more to close the Government? The Government does not earn money, or produce any profit. The government only spends other people's money. If we stopped the government from spending $24 billion, that is $24 billion not added to the national debt.

Obama, and Reid are the ones spending a trillion dollars a year of money that our great grandchildren haven't even earned yet. Why is that danger so cloudy and distant from your understanding. That is the clear and present danger that I see.

I know Ted Cruz and John Cornyn personally and was actually ashamed when Cornyn v**ed Cloture. I own an editing company called The Editing Chair: An Established Research Company here in San Antonio and opened it when I stopped teaching at San Antonio College in the late '80's. Alan Deshositz(sp?) said of Cruz when he was his Professor at Princeton that he was one of the top 5%! An a very honorable man. when his fellow Reps took him to task for "not understanding his it works," and on and on..Ted did not do it in a back room, but instead made them take him out into a public place which I thing was a private club. I told him and he knew that it would be a cold and lonely place not playing ball and the Reps were so made at him because their phone lines almost went into meltdown when their angry constituents at home took them to task as they had done to our Senator. Yes, he was treated like a Rock Star when he came to San Antonio, I was there--I used to canvas for Cruz when he started his bid for Rep Congressman. when Dana Bash, the WH liberal, followed Ted to San Antonio interviewed him, asked him why didn't he just let Obamacare fall flat on its face then he could tell everyone he told them so..this was my idea also but he told her that that "would be a terrible idea because it would hurt so many Texan and Americans. I was watching a German talk show, much like Crossfire and it had English feed. They said that they know America is over and Obama will be the last pres. and that more than likely the states will take over their own sovereignty. But the collapse of an economic system like America's would be a worldwide disaster! Already Saudis are not taking American cash for oil. Obama has cut the security to the Gulf Coast because he has sold much of our Gulf oil and China has bought up a lot of property in Texas and if they came rushing into Texas, they would have every right to! I am a child of the 60's and remember Nixon well. I also have a BA in Education and History with a field minor in historical research. Although Nixon was a crook, he was an American and a terrific foreign ad Pres. Obama is different, he has different ideological views like Socialist C*******t and is putting up a mosque at ground zero. Plus, We blew up our own twin towers in order to get in the Patriot Act. And if you do not believe that, you know that every, and I mean every plane, when going down too low will be shot down because they are on the line with the pilot at every second. The Pentagon has missiles on their rooftops. No wonder that plane did not hurt that any more than it was supposed to. A conspiracy theory, maybe. But then why are the terrorists-the Muslim Brotherhood invited to the White House more than Israel's Prime Minister is and when Netanathu(sp?) came to the White House he was left sitting while the family went to dinner!
