A democratic republic - which is not the same thing you described. It is true, however, that when party's were born ( there were no democrats until 1838 and no republicans until 1860 ) - they also opted to read "Republic" and skip over the "Democratic" descriptor. It is only a word - but a very important word. Even Lincoln wrote about a "Government of the people, by the people and for the people". That was no accident either.

“[U]nder the Democratic Party’s oddball delegate system, Sanders’ winning streak — he has won seven out of the past eight contests — counts for little.


“In fact, despite his win, he splits Wyoming’s 14 pledged delegates 7 to 7 under the caucus calculus.

“Clinton, meanwhile, also gets the state’s four superdelegates — who had already pledged their allegiance to her in January. So despite ‘losing,’ she triumphs 11-7 in the delegate tally.”

What we are witnessing — for the first time on a large scale — is the political establishment’s true role in selecting the president of the United States.

I don't know what the real deal is, but I remember all the stink about Jade Helm 15, and presumably nothing happened. What I do know is that the military doesn't move that huge amount of assets for s**ts and giggles!
Something is coming down the pike, and I don't know if it is to protect us, or to be used against us! It's still there and it shows no signs of leaving.

While attending the Government class , the professor taught this delegate choosing subject . I asked the question about the delegates choosing the person the delegate wanted and ignore the v**er's choice for a candidate . I was informed that was against the Law .
