14th chapter Revelation

Verse 1 through 5

These 144,000 are out of the 12 tribes of Jacob from chapter 7. They are not defiled with women. Most of the time when the bible speaks of females it is speaking of religions. The problem with religion is that they all teach a relationship with Jesus is possible while ignoring every sermon He preached, parable He taught, and miracle He performed. In spite of fact that He said if you love me you will keep my commandments. How can we know His commandments if we never read them? They certainly aren’t being taught. While Jesus gave the great commission to His disciples in two gospels, He said “follow me” 17 times. The ones redeemed are those who follow Christ Jesus and share in His experiences. If you read Acts 14:22 you will see that God does not save from tribulation but through tribulation

Verse 6 & 7

No one can see an angel unless it wants to be seen. What we should is that the message taught in the bible will never change and will outlive this nation, this planet, and this earth age. Heaven and earth will pass away but God’s word will never pass away. God has to be extremely intelligent because these planets are extremely large, but all are traveling faster than a bullet fired from a high powered rifle. God built this universe, out of what we don’t know.

Verse 8

Babylon is where man in the place of God started. This system of having to rely on someone who doesn’t have your best interest at heart will soon be over. When wine is drunk, you get drunk. When you are drunk you can’t perceive reality clearly. In this they may be drunk off something other than wine. For some reason we think people born in cities are smarter than those living a rural life. In small towns the food taste better and is better for you. Country values are better than city values.

Verse 9 and 10

This is a good reason to understand the bible if you can’t think of any other. In the fifth event, the locusts can only attack those who don’t have God’s word sealed in their minds. God won’t seal it in your minds until you read it. You have to read it for yourself because churches aren’t teaching it.
