13th chapter

Verse 1

The beach is where earth and water meet. This beast matches the description of satan in the 12th chapter. Blasphemy is described in John 10:33 where you make yourself god. Your interpretation of scripture is not God speaking. You can be wrong. I can be wrong too. It’s best to read the word of God and let the Holy Spirit speak to your heart. Christ told His disciples they were the salt of the earth and the waters are the nations, tongues, and peoples. Earth may represent true Disciples of Christ whose lives are more stable because they make better decisions. Water may represent gentiles who gullibly believe God will improve the quality of your life without you having to apply bible principles to your life. Blasphemy is described in John 10:33 as a man saying he is God

Verse 2

A leopard weighs about 300 pounds while a lion weighs 500. Bears claws are not retractable. A leopard built like this could not hunt like a normal feline. A feline uses its teeth and claws to hunt and catch prey. This is symbolic of appearing tough but not being able to back it up. For 70 years Russia was thought to be a world power. Before the communists lost power the world discovered it was a third world country with nuclear weapons. That they bankrupted the country making and never using nuclear weapons. I don’t any of their bombs would have worked.

Verse 3

Anything a body has more than one of; losing one will not end its life. Notice that only one of its heads are injured, yet the entire beast gets credit for the recovery. Socialism has been a failure in every country it is tried in, yet in spite of it failures, this nation is turning socialist and they are being voted in. When America becomes socialist, it too will fall. The most intelligent and talented people will leave and this country will experience a brain drain that occurs whenever a government gets too oppressive. The government needs taxpayers but taxpayers get along fine with limited government.

Verse 4

The reason logic is standing on its head is people obey satan’s emotional appeals instead of waiting on God’s appeals to intellect. We should all wait on the Lord. Making emotional decisions without thinking is always bad. We think the government is invincible. There is a saying, “you can’t fight city hall”.

Verse 5

Christians are held in disregard by the people who need Christian values the most. As long as we are in the time of the gentiles, Christian values will be looked down upon. If practiced, Christian values would save this nation. Now those who practice values are blasphemed. One day those with better sense will wake up.

Verse 6

Blasphemy is when a man tries to make himself God. That is impossible but we think man’s interpretations are correct. People are misguided into thinking emotions matter and feelings are a good guide for actions. Making emotional decisions is a mistake.

Verse 7

Right now those who try their best to follow Christ are looked down on. It won’t always be this way. Thus far we are describing the fifth trumpet.

Verse 8

If you think this life is the only life God is concerned with then you have a good chance of worshipping satan instead of Jesus.

Verse 9

You will never understand the bible unless you read it. No one knows what is going to happen unless God reveals it to them. What is practiced in churches is not lined up with scripture.

Oh, I don't think so. It's like a breath of fresh air when someone who actually worships Christ walks by. It's those that claim to follow Christ, yet clearly don't, who draw all the scorn, and rightly so.

Oh god can worship as many lives as he like but that doesn't mean I worship Satan. If I don't worship one why would I worship the other...

That's probably true. But than again understanding the bible isn't very high on by list of things to do. How can you trust the word of a god when he is the only authority to say he is real?

This earth is a spherical ball that is 25,000 miles across. It orbits a sun that 93,000,000 miles away. If you do the math, we are traveling over 20 times faster than a bullet fired from a high-powered rifle. If you can see an intelligent design but not an intelligent designer, I think that is an egotistical and vain mindset. I can make brownies. I would question the intelligence of anyone who asked me where my brownies came from. I think God has better reasons not to believe in you. You weren't born until after 1900. You will be dead in less than 100 years. Yet you question the one who gave us life, while you have't done anything for anybody.
