Colorado minister not allowed to use the word, Jesus, on his wife's tombstone

It seems that the man who ran the cemetery turned down the request to place the ichthyic fish on a woman's tombstone with the word Jesus inside it. The request came from the husband who was a minister. He was told that the name, Jesus, wouldn't fit inside the fish. Later he was told that the word would surely offend someone sooner or later. He called attention to the fact that whole quotes from the Bible could be found all over the place.

Well now the minister and his family won out, in the end. They put the story on various social sites and the pressure from Christians became too great. Interesting story for Christians and not so hot for the rest of you.

I do not consider myself a Christian, but I find the idea of not allowing this gravestone to be offensive in itself. I suppose the radical Atheist groups are pushing for full-fledged membership in the Politically Correct Gestapo. Most atheist groups are not anti-religion, they are anti-Christian. They may say otherwise, but their actions are almost always directed at Christianity. Any attack on any other religion is nothing more than a thinly disguised, cynical hat tip toward "inclusiveness." Their antipathy is reserved for organized Christian religion. I personally find their "My way or the highway, in your face" attitude far more offensive than any of the Christian symbolism they rail against. They are entitled to their beliefs. They appear to believe this does not hold true for anyone else. I believe that my opinion, as a non-Christian, is pretty much the same as an Evangelical's. These people attack Christianity almost exclusively under the guise of opposing all religion.
