My daughters talked me into going on Face book. I was friended by a guy I went to grade school with. He remembered a time in 4th grade health class when our teacher wrote on the blackboard for me to draw a diagram of the inside of the ear. His "E" looked more like a "C" so I drew the inside of a car complete with dash board and steering wheel. The whole class including the teacher got a good laugh on that one. How a guy I have not seen in fifty years could remember that I'll never know. Funny thing is I remember it too.

Well, Tomas, youngsters such as you should have no difficulty in remembering things from your youth. It's the elderly that experience that problem...on rare occasions.

You are a better man than I. I do remember a brand new Fifty five Pontiac my folks bought. mainly because I was with my dad and his duck hunting buddys when an old guy in the backseat accidently blew a hole through the roof with his shot gun. I was 1 year old then.

Mine also had a brand new '55 Pontiac. I was 20+ at the time and a veteran enrolled at Mich. State on the G.I. bill.

Ours was sky blue and white with matching interior. My Dad was a couple years out of the Airborne then. My poor mother didn't know what she had gotten herself into. She was a big city girl from Winnipeg My Dad was a half breed cowboy from a wild place. When I grew up I worked with a few men who went to school with my dad. I heard a lot of storys that I believed.

I remember sitting in a highchair and my mother teaching me how to say the word "milk". I even remember what we had for dinner that night.

cool. I have a memory of being baby sat by some folks with not enough chairs for their children and myself. They sat me on an upended apple box. It looked like a mile to the floor. I did not move a muscle.
