The greater good
We listen to soothsayers tell us what we want to hear instead of what we need to hear. Everything we need to hear is not what new want to hear. For example, to get wealth, you will have to earn it. The road to success is paved with education, hard work, and a little luck. But luck is the place where preparation meets opportunity. You will accomplish nothing financially supporting false prophets. You may buy them a plane, but they only life they improve is their own. If you read Acts 14:22 you see that God does not save from tribulation but through tribulation. I do no one any good telling them things I dont know to be true. Reality exists outside of human cognition. How many people agree to a falsehood does not make it true. When the best minds in Europe thought the world was flat, it did not make the world flat. What I mean by soothsayers is people that speak soothing words that give hope and entertain but dont address the moral decline in this nation from generation to generation. The truth is all that will live Godly in Christ shall suffer persecution. satan has deceived the whole world. The hardest person to teach is one who thinks they know already. Pastors teach what they do not understand. If the bible was understood we wouldnt be in a moral decline. Perverts are openly parading perversion but you are saved because you stopped smoking. We should suffer for the greater good. A disciple is not greater than his master. If Jesus walked everywhere He went, why are preachers living such rich lifestyles? Do you think Jesus died so that we could steal, murder, and commit adultery, but continue to pay tithes? If you tell people that grace means you can violate the law with no consequence, you can become a millionaire. But if you tell people that are being deceived they will scheme and plot dirty tricks against you. God is in control. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. The greater good is teaching truth to minds deceived by satan. If you are teaching truth, they dont want to hear it.

Where , then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith. For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from law. Is God the God of the Jews only? Is he not the God of the Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law. Romans 3: 27-31

I agree! When a person is saved and has the Holy Spirit living with inside of him/her, their fruits can be seen. That does not mean that that person won't make some big boo-boos at times. Each of us sin every single day in some way, be it big or small. But by Jesus's sacrifice, our sins are forgiven.

This religion has us judging and condemning instead of building, uplifting, and forgiving.

I agree again! We should be able to discuss our different interpretation without declaring the other person is going to be deceived or is going to hell because of a different interpretation. We should celebrate our love of our Savior and Lord and appreciate that we live in a country that we can openly declare our faith. Have a wonderful afternoon Fred!
