When each side has internal differences, such as the Democrats and their Progressives and the Republicans with their Tea party, and each one claims to be the sole beneficiary of the "only way to save America", someone has to be wrong or only partially right - and none of them willing to concede for a minute that anyone else might have something good to add - NO ONE CAN WIN.

There has never been a time in our country, when a tiny handful of people had all the answers, but those multiple handfuls of people insist that they do, each competing to convince us that THEIR vision is the only viable vision. No party, or part of a party, leaves any room for working with anyone else, and that NEVER leads to successful results.

Our greatest achievements were made, when all of us worked together. That means, having our disagreements, arguing our positions, grasping our similarities and coming to a consensus. General Macarthur once said, that the "best plans always leave everyone with less than they desired".
