LOL. Like to have seen that pageant. Our church did the summer picnic thing and we used the cow pies (dry) for bases when we played ball.. Was a great time.. Tiny towns population of only hundreds...

A favorite game at things like that around here is hurling cow pies. It looks so easy but sometimes, often, they break into pieces when you try to put too much force on them.

The best cow pie thing I ever heard was about two guys who were told to string 24 of the things on some heavy string and, of course, every time they inserted the needle the pie broke. Finally, an old man who worked at the college experiment station dairy suggested they put some dry ones in the watering tank and get them wet and then string them up while they were still wet and frozen and let them dry. it worked.

Another one was when a couple of them were sent out for two for two quarts of black chicken. That caused breaking the white part off.

Joseph and Mary were made homeless temporarily by the order of a power drunk emperor who made them and a lot of other people temporarily homeless by forcing them to travel to places where they might or might not find a place to stay. At the time Jesus was born, Joseph and Mary did not have a place to stay. That is why Jesus finally got born in a barn.

The inns were all filled up. That is why they ended up in a stable. We do not know whether it was a barn or cave. They use both for their livestock at that time. A homeless person is someone without a home. If you take a trip to another place, does that make you homeless? No.
