All demonizing of either party must end if our nation is to survive. Who cares who started it or is the one party most responsible for it. We are a house divided...and a house divided will fall. The end of this country is not going to be because of Right of Left policies--or ISIS or anything else--but because of the childish inability to listen and compromise. Our nation is done thanks to the ideologues and partisans of both parties.

This country has always been divided...the l*****t, moderates/wafflers who can't make up their minds, and conservatives. It just seems more so with a divider in the WH instead of a uniter, who has consistently attacked Republicans/conservatives, and has stirred up the black and Hispanic communities. It is also amplified by the social media, of which there is far more now days than years past. Personally, I have no desire to get along with liberals, I want to defeat you. Not all, just leave enough of you liberals around to remind people what liberalism, and all of it's destructiveness, is all about.

That is why the time is right for a new party, or an old one ( there are currently 96 registered political party's ) to gain prominence and push both current party's out of the way. Corruption is insidious and only grows stronger if not dealt with early and neither the Democratic party nor the Republican party have had any incentive to clean up their acts, in fact, they've only "doubled down" on their lunatic ideologies - and tried to force everyone to follow them.

When I returned to the United States as a young man, to resume my duties as an American, I was rather appalled at the state I found our Nation in, and it's only gotten worse since then. That is why I became non partisan, as partisan politics was destructive. That's also why I became a Centrist, because the left and right were moving away from the center as fast as they possibly could. We can NEVER come together, when the two "sides" are an astronomical distance apart. I never had to worry about trying to figure out where the Center was, as the left and right always did that job for me - the center was always somewhere between the two extremes.

Now, not only have the two "sides" drifted further from the Center, there are elements in both party's that don't think they are drifting fast enough - and are pushing with great gusto beyond the already lunatic extremes. When a system is broken beyond repair, you scrape it - and make a new one.

Then, in a few years, this new party would be just as d******e and corrupt as the current two parties. Anytime you have more than a couple people in the room, you're going to have disagreement. This is not the answer. A few more years of Democrat control, and we'll either have a revolution, or we will perish...it is that simple.

Really? So you think Americans are too stupid to learn from their mistakes? Disagreement is what makes great things happen and prevents mistakes, that is, when adults are in the room.

Adults listen to each other, consider each others ideas and opinions and change their minds when their own ideas prove less than perfect, until a consensus is reached. An adult may still disagree with the majority, but will pitch in and do their part anyway, because that's what makes a successful society.

The premise of "taking a stand", because you alone know what is best for everyone else, is i***tic and childish, but we've come to accept that as normal behavior. That's OUR bad, but we do NOT have to repeat that mistake. The United States is older - but America still hasn't grown up.
