Just heard that the whitehouse has to have a new dome. The old one is cracking. It will just take 60 million and two years to repair. Of course, you all know who will be paying for it. And, should one even think that it will bother the national debt at all? Is this something that our stupid government should be worrying about instead of the people? Our government is cracked up more than the whitehouse dome. They need to stop remodeling the place for the next 25 years.

It should be interesting as there is no "dome" on the White House.

60 million here 60 million there to those in power that is chump change. It seems that if they are not talking billions it is just loose change.

Funny how those sums seem so easy to spend but when it comes to our part it seems to eat in to our pockets deeper every day.

I am awaiting his source. There is no "dome" on the White House. I have spent the last thirty minutes trying to find any substantiation or article concerning this and have found nothing. Until I see a source, I will have some doubt.

60 Million? That's not much compared to the 6 billion we subsidize the oil companies, 13 billion we let the Fortune 15 companies not pay taxes on, XXX billion we give to Israe land not to mention the XXX trillion that the 1% does not have to pay in taxes.

This is trivial chump-change.

Although this might be chump-change, this is just one example of the waste of American money and they always complain about the national debt. If you take 1000 + chump-change times the 60 million, that is quite a few chump-changes that could be applied to something more worthy for the people. A few more chump-changes need to be changed for the improvement of our national debt. This could be one of them.
