Disgusted v**ers organize protest against Colorado GOP insiders; warn just the beginning

Colorado’s Republican v**ers won’t be silenced.

The group that calls itself Colorado V**es Matter has organized a rally for April 15 at the Colorado GOP headquarters to protest against Ted Cruz’s win of the state’s delegates over Donald Trump in a contest that didn’t see v**ers directly choose the winner.

The Denver Post explained how Cruz won the delegates.

Colorado GOP leaders canceled the party’s p**********l straw poll in August to avoid binding its delegates to a candidate who may not survive until the Republican National Convention in July.

Instead, Republicans selected national delegates through the caucus process, a move that put the e******n of national delegates in the hands of party insiders and activists — leaving roughly 90 percent of the more than 1 million Republican v**ers on the sidelines.

The decision sparked significant controversy at the time and removed Colorado from the Republican primary map in the early stages of the campaign.

But Cruz supporters worked quietly behind the scenes to build an organization to get like-minded Republicans to the March 1 precinct caucuses and capitalized on the Trump campaign’s failure to adapt to the system.

It should come as no surprise then that v**ers feel disenfranchised and are fighting back.

“The Colorado Republican Party shamefully silenced its v**ers this e******n season. We demand that Colorado give the power to v**e in the P**********l Primary to the v**ers.

We will exercise our right to assemble and peacefully protest the corruption of the Colorado GOP and disenfranchisement that we the v**ers have suffered,” the group wrote on its website coloradov**esmatter.org.

The group also warned that this is just the beginning and vowed to “show the GOP a preview of what is to come if we come to a contested convention.”

GOP chairman Reince Priebus defended the v**e saying the rules have been in place since August.

And the Colorado GOP has maintained that nothing sinister happened, even after its official account tweeted out #NeverTrump after the e******n.

There was plenty of response on social media to the planned protest and Priebus’ defense.

GOP Lies, Wreckage, Trickery & Deceit ... The ... (show quote)

Every state GOP Party gets to set his own way of selecting delegates. Some have primaries, some have caucuses, some conventions. Some have open primaries and some have closed primaries. Some have primaries with winner take all and some have primaries where delegates are chosen on a proportional basis. Some have some delegates who are bound to one candidate for a certain number of b****ts and some have unbounded delegates. It is not c***ting to adopt a strategy that fits a certain states process. Those going to protest in Colorado are just sore Trump supporters who would not be saying a word about the process if he had gotten all the delegates the same way Cruz did and neither would you. Admit it.

The fact I know is that Trump and his followers consider everything that does not go their way c***ting. If Trump had gotten the delegates the same way Cruz did you would be here bragging about how smart he was. You are so t***sparent as are all those who live on the Trump Davidian compound.

It's a lot like how they say Cruz is bad because as a politician he takes donations from private citizens, but Trump is great because as a private citizen he gave money to politicians.

It's a cult religion. Trump can one thing one day, say the opposite thing the next day, and his supporters will remained convinced he was right both times.

Trump has zero chance of being elected President. Every study and poll proves that.

It will be very tough for any Republican to win the way the E*******l College plays out but Cruz would have a better chance. Cruz is not perfect but Trump is a fraud pretending to be what he is not.
