That reminds me of a video I saw. Two cats were in the garage, eating the kitty chow, when a adult raccoon walks in and usurps their rightful spot at the food dish. This lasted for just a few seconds. The cats got over their shock, and made no bones about their displeasure. The video ended with the raccoon fleeing on two legs, while clutching stolen Kibble to it's chest with it's paws. One of the funniest things I ever watched.

maybe if there were two dogs????

When living in Colorado I had a friend that had a pet raccoon and if you sat in a certain rocker he would come and leap up and get on your head and stare back at you until you moved from his favorite chair.

Hi! Linda. Hope you had a great day yesterday.
The first time that it climbed on the chair to my head I did not know whether to stay very still or what to do. He had been a wild raccoon and just got attached to the family and had been living under their house. When he wanted into the house they let him. He never was aggressive but one must not make quick moves around wild animals. He was a great pet for their family.

Unreal how they sense the safety in others not to hurt them..Pretty unique really, that they have that ability...I would let one in to eat but would never get close to it...

See, they are more intuitive than we are.. :?
