I'm a Tea Party type thinker but it is because I got tired of the non action of conservative politicians and the lack of action by our conservative citizens thinking that someone else will take care of it. I am here to see what is out there. :thumbup:

I attend two different county tea parties here in Michigan but find most of the members are quite naive about government in general! It's hard to maintain hope for the country but some of the younger generation (Paul followers) seem to have a lot on the ball. I did attend some democrat party meetings for a while but I really don't believe there is any hope of their eyes ever opening!

I, like you, have found that the younger generation who follow Dr. Paul and other Libertarian leanings seem to be quite well informed. They make a practice of reading and keeping up with current events using sources other then the mainstream media. Interestingly enough they seem to be very very well grounded in the Constitution.

Roy, welcome to the discusion. There are many here who share your views. Of course, there are those who will just call you and those who think like you names and just repeat all the Democrat talking points. Ignore them, because you cannot reason with them.
