If this nation followed the bible

America would be a better place to live and this nation might survive if we policed ourselves and followed the bible, instead of expecting God to do for us the things we should do for ourselves. This brand of Christianity we practice where God is worshiped and praised while His instructions, son, and prophets are ignored has rendered this generation useless. We have become divided. We used to be one nation under God, Since the hippie revolution of the 60’s we choose actions that exchange long term pain for short term gain. We are no longer one nation under God, but now we have become divided. Obama is president. It does not matter if you voted for him or not. We are voting for a government that has policies that will destroy us. We have allowed the murder of 60 million children. How many doctors, lawyers, and Indian chiefs never got a chance to take their first breath? We are losing our country. We show concern for children on other continents but have murdered 60 million over here before they could take their first breath. If we care about children we should stop killing them. The bible if followed, would make things better. The quality of life in America would improve. Crime would decrease while families led by a father would increase. The churches would teach God’s word instead of enabling evildoers and teaching that God’s grace frees you from obeying God’s law. (Except tithing). The institution of marriage would once again be looked at as sacred. Families would be parented by a father and mother. Drug abuse and alcoholism would decrease. Drug dealers would go out of business because nobody would use drugs. We would police ourselves. No one should have to tell us not to steal or murder. You will not strengthen a family by cheating on your spouse. We would raise our children to be responsible adults. We would realize that boys grow up to become men and girls grow up to become women. Childhood doesn’t last forever. In other cultures the is an age that when reached, you are no longer looked at as a child. In America, adults were beaten worse than children. I’m off topic. We should stand for God instead of praying for God to intervene while we let perverts take over this country. Socialism and Islam will destroy this nation. America needs God but God created this galaxy without America.

If this nation followed the bible br br America w... (show quote)

What about people that follow the bible....does it really take everyone to follow the bible? The only thing I've learned from backroom Christian's is hypocrisy.

Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley admitted March 23, 2016 that he made inappropriate remarks to a top female staffer, but he denied accusations that he had a physical affair.

The governor’s admission capped a bizarre political day in which, a day after his firing, his former law enforcement secretary and one-time close friend made public the content of a clandestine recording — made by a family member before Bentley’s wife filed for divorce last year — and accused his former boss of having an inappropriate relationship with the staffer.

The two-term Republican governor, a former Baptist deacon, acknowledged in a conciliatory news conference that he said “some inappropriate things” to his senior political adviser, Rebekah Caldwell Mason.

“I made a mistake. Two years ago I made a mistake,” Bentley said, adding that he had previously apologized to his family and to Mason and her family. “Today I want to apologize to the people of the state of Alabama and once again, I want to apologize to my family. I am truly sorry and I accept full responsibility.”

Former Law Enforcement Secretary Spencer Collier held a news conference Wednesday and said he heard a tape recording in 2014 in which Bentley made romantic and sexually charged comments to a woman he believed to be Mason.

We scrutinize normal relationships and legalize gay marriage. A democratic president of the United States commits adultery on his wife in the oval office and it becomes a republican plot to remove a sitting president. A republican governor of a state flies to another country and commits adultery on his wife in a hotel and republicans lead the charge in removing him from office.

Are you serious?

"Notional" Christians are individuals who identify themselves as Christian yet do not meet the criteria for being "born again."

According to the NT, we follow Christ and not the Bible. Grace and the Holy Spirit, not our limited interpretation of the Bible, is our guide.

It looks like we are headed for destruction. If we are going to hell, at least we are enjoying the journey.

My judgement and $5.00 will get you a cup of coffee anywhere in this nation. Pointing out evil is not judging.

Sure it is: your "opinion" is that, something, a behavior, an action is evil. Others may not agree with you so it is your judgement that it is.

If disagreeing with abortion and same sex marriage means I'm judging then so be it. I think you are stupid to think God is pleased.
