Spent the night in Austin, just got home an hour ago.
Lauren did OK...not spectacular. Gave up no runs, no hits, but two walks in 2 & 2/3 innings. Two strikeouts.
However, the team was flat again, and lost 6-4. Lauren was down 6-2 when she came in the 5th.
Having mass substitutions seems to be prohibiting our sustaining any kind of offense, and our defense is shaky. Too many players are being alternated from their normal positions to allow others to see game time.
Exhibitions can be frustrating, but will pay dividends...with the end results.

My confederates were just giving me a hard time for spending some quality time with my wife, the Sgt. Major.
:lol: They were consumed with how our "quality time" could have been spent. I left them with as little information as possible, but with suggestive remarks and innuendo aplenty. :wink:
