I had an epiphany yesterday, but I put it down to go get a cup of coffee and can't remember where I left it.
I had an idea for a new invention that would make me rich. Half way through building the prototype, I forgot what I was supposed to be building. I have about 200 half finished prototypes of - something - and if I could remember what any of them were supposed to be, I'm sure I'll be rich shortly thereafter. Maybe I need to write notes I can actually read?
Listening to someone's opinion about something recently, I had the perfect counterpoint thought out and ready to go, but by the time it was my turn to speak, all that I could think of to say by then was - "what?".
I had an idea that would solve a vexing social problem and carefully wrote it down so I wouldn't forget what it was. Once finished, I reread my notes - and couldn't make any sense of them, by then, the idea had fled to some unknown location.
If I could remember even a little of what I think I once knew, I'd be a world shaker and mover - at least, I think I would be - but how would I know, since I can't in fact remember ANY of it?
I used to have a whole lot of stuff - but can't remember where I put most of it - or what stuff I used to have. I'm almost sure that I vaguely remember having had some stuff.
