As expected, electric cars keep getting better and better.
Over 200,000 have ordered Model 3 so far.. Soon these and simaler electric cars will be a common sight on all our highways.
http://money.cnn.com/2016/04/01/luxury/tesla-model-3/index.htmlEven before Tesla unveiled its new Model 3 on Thursday night, more than 115,000 people had already paid $1,000 to reserve one of the highly-anticipated electric cars.
These early buyers didn't know what the car would look like -- a lot like a smaller Model S with an up-turned nose -- or that it would have a starting price of exactly $35,000. They also didn't know that it would go from zero to 60 in less than 6 seconds and have a range of at least 215 miles.
"We don't make slow cars," CEO Elon Musk said at the car's unveiling, adding that these are minimum specs the company hopes to exceed. "You will not be able to buy a better car for $35,000, or even close, even if you get no options," he said later.

Why !!! ???
As near as I can tell from the TV interviews people are all excited about the battery and reliability of the car as well as the price. One guy said he could go halfway to San Francisco before he had to charge,SF is about 300 miles from here so about 150 on a charge, don't have any idea if that is good, this guy thought it was.I wonder how much it costs and how long it takes to charge one of these elect.cars, anybody know?

In my state of Arizona the New car dealers assoc. got the legislative to pass a law that some how for bids 'Telsa' from selling their products, however you can still buy it out of state. You just have to believe that some big bucks passed hands. making me believe that the Arizona 'legislative needs a badly needed 'laxitive'

I like C**pe's
When he builds a long body C**pe, I'm ALL IN !
I will stick with my TOYOTA PRIUS,49.2 MPG,BUT,I can drive over 400 miles, without stopping for a recharge,Tesla doesn't say,how much they are going to charge,to charge their batteries,OR,if you can plug it into your home electric system??? how much it will cost,in home electricity use.AND my PRIUS,costs $10,000 less than the tesla.
