Some People Act Like The Word Responsibility is a FOUR Letter Word!!! Have You Ever Noticed How Some People's Lives Are One Crisis After Another??? Wonder Why??? Other's Who Have Just As Busy And Complex Lives Seem To Have Smooth Sailing, Could It Be They Are Depending On a Higher Power For Guidance??? Don D. P.S. Simple Prayer I Use Everyday Might Help... Lord Don't Let Me Hurt Myself or Others Today And Show Which Path To Take, They Will Not Mine Be Done... Amen.
Avoiding Blame
"Why do these things always happen to me?" If "these things" are always happening to us, the obvious answer is that, more often than not, we have somehow brought them on ourselves. We are likely largely unconscious of what we've done wrong until, slowly, eventually; we manage to dig ourselves out from the resulting consequences. (It seems incredible that we actually seek to live in chaos, but many of us do so, & with daily regularity.)
But blaming others for our problems and indulging in self-pity won't move us forward in our program. We need to take an honest look at our part in "these things."
Am I still blaming others for things I helped to create ??
Higher Power, help me take responsibility for myself, my actions, & my reactions. Why ?? Because I now know : blaming others will only keep me stuck !!
