Republican insistence and made into law that there are Guns in churches, bars, schools and stores--but not at the RNC!

Is the RNC afraid there is no "good guy" with a gun coming to their convention?
After making guns available in all areas, such as where children play, drunks drink, innocent people worship, they ban guns at their convention: why? Let the American public worry about gun violence but not the Republicans?
I am sorry but does anyone see the irony--and absurdity--of the RNC ban on guns at their convention? They are more than happy to have guns, openly carried of concealed, everywhere in our life--but their convention!

Such a ruling, given their irresponsible free range of guns elsewhere, is a testament to their hypocrisy and indecency. They say, "We want to be safe from guns but not you." "We will ignore all our claims about safety having a firearm, a "good guy" with a gun, and 2nd Amendment imperatives for our own safety." "But trust us when we say we support the 2nd Amendment."

How do you guys come up with these consistently scathing arguments? Sheer genius. In perhaps fifteen Rightie replies tonight, or more, they showed the same lack of reason, argumentation, logic, and any semblance of knowledge as to the point.

Again.... it is not the RNC that banned the guns it was Secret Service. And it is right that they should. With the democrats paying protesters to attend and cause problems, and not all of those folks' elevators go to the top floor and with the threats on the life of Mr Trump, it is prudent to restrict guns at his debates or rallies. If you do not think it is the democrats causing the problems, then you have not watched the news.....but, here is an opinion from a law enforcement officer who attended a rally.... read what he has to say: http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2016/03/21/police-officer-trump-protesters-were-the-most-h**eful-evil-people-ive-ever-seen/ He says they are "the most evil people" going on to say: “These people were acting so outrageous,” he said in the video, which went v***l after it was uploaded to Facebook. “You were just thinking that somebody was going to lose their temper and there was going to be a full brawl.” So... should guns be allowed to be carried by anyone, especially the trouble makers?

Why would we lower to your level and argue with the ridiculous statements you make, just because you make a pronouncement about the replies you get does not make it so.Why not try,if you can, too say something intelligent.By the way. You are not in a position to comment about genius.

I didn't even have to read the username while I was reading the title of this thread to know who posted it. The first thought I had was, "uh oh, fiatlux, overdosed on Prilosec again and couldn't make it to the s**tter in time."

Should I go to the trouble to find out just who, where and when at "Republican insistence and made into law that there are Guns in churches, bars, schools and stores." I suppose I could waste time going through the concealed and open carry gun laws of all 50 states to determine exactly where all this horror has occurred, but I'm gonna pass on that. Reason being, fiatlux will just down another megadose of Prilosec and come back and spew another load of hoplophobic diarreha.

Two people have been indicted for assault from Trump rallies, both Trump supporters caught on video sucker-punching a protestor. Now the recent warrant for Trump's main man for assault on a reporter. Am I missing something?

If guns should so gloriously be carried everywhere, as the Right stupidly believes and takes as a sacrament, a "good guy" with a gun their central doctrine, why does the Secret Service disagree? Are they puppets of the Democrats? Socialist reformers? Protesters against the best thinking of the NRA? Closet Liberals? Has the Secret Service been bought and sold by Obama and his ilk? Are they preparing to take all guns? Are FEMA camps waiting for all gun advocates, to be arrested by the Secret Service?

You guys are flaming i***ts! The Secret Service ban is because guns are dangerous. Republicans will be protected but not theaters or schools or churches or bars or the work place. But Republicans will be protected from guns. The Republicans who promote open carry and no restrictions on the 2nd Amendment will be protected from the 2nd Amendment and open carry and concealed carry and gun show sales and everything to do with the 2nd Amendment and its lack of reasonable restrictions.

If all you read are Liberal views....then you did not miss a thing. However, if you read both sides, then you have missed quite a bit. You see the anti-Trump supporter who got sucker punched was wearing a KKK sheet and was there to incite anger. The reporter, well she was grabbing Mr. Trump and his campaign manager grabbed her arm to prevent her from grabbing Mr. Trump. Do you think that the KKK wearing garb person was there to just mildly communicate their displeasure? And since when is it appropriate to grab someone?

If you have a problem with the Secret Service and their position on gun control, then address them...not the Republicans because it was not a Republican or Democrat call, it was a decision made for the protection of Mr. Trump.... do you think they made a wrong call? And are you now pro gun? What are you trying to advocate, allow guns with the hopes of eliminating a p**********l candidate? You can not shut him up....so allow him to be murdered?

Do you have any clue how many times I have heard this empty and stupid argument as to why you cannot give a substantive argument or reasonable defense over a subject? You guys always say the same thing. "I am not going to be logical or reasonable or raise a credible argument because insult is easier."

Your first paragraph.Have you ever attended a sporting event, fights break out all the time yet your concern, your target, is a Trump rally. You never ask questions looking for a discussion you are only trying to argue that Trump is a bad guy.The only response you will ever get is ridicule by the right and agreement by the bobble heads on the left.Try saying something sensible if you really want that intelligence you believe you have tested.

If you kept abreast of the news, there would be no need to search. But if you call it "horror," thank you, you are right and it does exist. You made my argument, albeit due to your lack of following the news.

I have read your stuff and no has ever said insult is easier. You never post reasonable comments and as a result you will never get a reasonable response. You start most comments with a insult or some other degrading remark what the hell do you expect. You don't want discussion you want to promote the left wing by degrading the right, that's the same tactic Rummy always used.

Unreal. Love your conspiracy dreamland. This is why talking to the Right is useless. There is no evidence at all the Black person sucker-punched by a Trump supporter was donned in a KKK outfit. All the video shows about the woman reporter, a supporter of Trump, working for the extreme right breitbart, is his main man grabbing her forcefully and pulling her away.

Are you really this dumb. My point about the Secret Service banning firearms at the Convention is that Republicans are passing laws and insisting guns should be everywhere. More guns the merrier. The Secret Service very definitely disagrees.

You do not see the total irony? The party looking for no restrictions on the 2nd Amendment bans guns at their convention?

I do not buy into conspiracy theories, most are easily disproved. However, the threats against people running for office is very real....think about presidents who have been shot. Four sitting presidents have been k**led, all of them by gunshot: Abraham Lincoln (the 16th President), James A. Garfield (the 20th President), William McKinley (the 25th President) and John F. Kennedy (the 35th President). Much earlier in the campaign of Obama, the secret service assigned to him banned weapons of all kinds from his rallies...so Mr. Trump being afforded the same protection is nothing new.

The man sucker punched was white...the one punching him was black. Do you not read? http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2016/03/10/trump-protester-sucker-punched-at-north-carolina-rally-videos-show/ and http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-e******n/protester-punched-kicked-donald-trump-rally-arizona-n541991

Try reading or if you can't just watch the videos imbedded in the links!

You ask me if I am dumb... really? Should I make similar comments about you? You get all tearful when I mention your admitted problems....now you say such things to me? Oh, that is right.... you are ENTITLED.

Again... it is SECRET SERVICE BANNING FIREARMS....not the REPUBLICAN PARTY.... No irony, the Secret Service works for the government who is now under a dictator who wants all our weapons removed.... The Republican Party did not make the decision. Read this paragraph again, and again, if necessary to be sure you understand the distinction!
