Here is a unique idea....how about letting your political party biases go, quit listening to the people who tell you what you want to hear, and think for yourself?
There is a whole, big, world out there without an R, or a D on it who just want to live life, and be left alone! Try it!!
The fact that you identify with a political party doesn't make you right, or superior. Thinking that it does makes you stupid.
Interesting. That was my same advice to you. I do not identify with a political party; I identify with Christ. Bombastic sounding, I know, yet that is how I see it. I have written many articles eschewing politics for the Christian over the last two decades. I do not see this point as political but as a Christ directive: care for the least of these. This is how we will be judged, this is what makes us true Christians. The poor are our way to better knowing and serving Christ. Nothing else. Not church attendance, knowing doctrines, or quoting verses from the Bible. Being with the poor is the heart of Christianity.
