Fracking: the heart and soul of Republicans exposed

People lighting their tap water on fire; crop failures, whole farms turning brown; livestock no longer producing or dead; children wasting away and dying from a variety of disorders; ponds, streams, wells, and rivers contaminated; wildlife slaughtered by poisonous water; and--tada!--earthquakes where they had been no earthquakes before.

All these things are gifts to their fellow citizens, a rural populace that usually v**es conservative, from the paranoid and h**eful ideologues on the Right that care nothing about people and all about serving Oil. Lie about the proven effects of fracking that are so damaging to people and the environment just to score points against alternative energy, proposed by the Left. It is thoroughly indefensible and criminal. But Big Oil has them in their pocket.

And most on the Right, I would venture, are unaware of the proven faults of fracking, taking the word without question of sold-out party leaders as true and the position of the Left against this venture as mere politics.

Wake up! Fact check, for crying out loud. Take the blinders off!

You have any proof to go along with all that blabbering? Or is this something you read in liberal news daily? Where's Obama and his EPA jack booted thugs? Why aren't you doing something instead of whining on this forum?

Thats not proof, that's a bunch of people that have no idea whats going into the ground........here's some actual proof of the chemicals getting pumped into the ground....127 different highly tocic chemicals mixed into one slurry to be used, each client has his own recipe....Notice the tags on the chem bins to be mixed.....see any that are below a 3 in reactivity qnd toxicity? And some are 5s.....what could possibly be wrong with this. ......Welcome to Rockwater energy in Tyler TX.

One recipe ready for mixing and shipping

Two weeks there managing the installation of explosion proof storage......i am now against fracking. ......the things i had seen being mixed to be pumped underground was mind boggling, and unbelievable that the EPA pretends they are unable to get the chemical makeup being used under that proprietary ruse from the energy companies.....they are just as culpable as the people doing the fracking,

I have no doubt and again thank you. Lots of money involved. I sensed that you were not opposed to what I said but not sure why. My ignorance, and that is good.

H**e to say it, but why would any of us at this point think that the EPA would be any different than the rest of the government? Long ago, I got a front row seat, not the EPA, but the Dept. of the Interior. What a life lesson that was!!

I hear ya, the sad part is the EPA was at this facility every couple of days to make sure there was no spillover of these chems due to the toxicity. ...yet allow them to be pumped by the millions of gallons a year underground, and then claim they cannot get the makeup from the energy companies due to proprietary laws..WTF?

Common sense would tell an i***t that mixing a hundred of the worst chems known to man will not result in one good one for use.....EPA is a joke, and must be in someones pocket.

Had a friend who worked for EPA at the same time I worked for Interior. I asked her point blank one day what the deal was. Her reply began with "you don't really want to know" and ended with words that, to me, spelled out the worst doom and gloom I could conjure up in my mind....and now? What has t***spired is beyond, by a long shot, what my imagination conjured up then. :hunf:

IMO the EPA plays politics, they are not neutral and looking out for anyones best interest except the EPAs....not a fan, they have done some good things, but also some incredibly stupid crap at the same time.
