Cruz was George W.'s brain and the one behind his actions when he in the late 1990's, as Governor of Texas, along with his Attorney General Dan Morales, was busy persecuting Republic of Texas sovereign citizens under his phony pretext of a "state emergency". He was Bush's brain and top policy advisor and his adviser on legal affairs, all right: That is, on persecuting Republic of Texas citizens out of their first, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth amendment rights and drumming them into "lifetime" open-ended prison terms abusing the Texas courts' criminal and civil judicial system on phony contempt of court charges for inability to pay the ludicrous $10,000-a-day "fines" being levied on them by Morales and Bush, merely for their political first amendment association and separatist beliefs that Texas was never lawfully annexed to the United States and of restoring an independent national republic to Texas, and leaving the United States so-called "union".

Cruz, Morales and Bush, all three of them were corrupt and were misusing the corrupt Texas Courts system to railroad sovereign Texas citizens into prison merely for their political beliefs. Cruz is no constitutional scholar or advocate, a real one would defend the constitution against all foreign and domestic enemies, not become one. But he instead is a liar and a hypocrite and a propagandist who learned the constitution just well enough to figure out how to get around it to railroad the people of Texas out of their constitutionally guaranteed rights, just like any crooked corrupt policeman, prosecutor, district attorney, or corrupt lying prevaricating obfuscating slick snake lawyer or judge would in a corrupt police state like we have now.

The real Ted Cruz is a conservative, unlike Trump, who has been, and still pretty is, a liberal. Ted Cruz as the president, will do as exactly as he has said he will, which to date has been his track record in the Senate...he keeps his word. He will make a far better president than Trump, or any Democrat. With Trump, you're going to get a lot of deals, aka compromises...you're gonna hear "well, I gave the Democrats something, and I gave the Republicans something" a lot. In other words, he will keep both sides pissed. The wall will get filibustered by the Senate Democrats, his crack down on China, Japan, and others will drive consumer prices through the roof. And, I will wager that his tax plan will never make it through the House or Senate. Trump will make a terrible president, but he will be better than Hillary, or Sanders. If Hillary is undamaged from the FBI email investigation, she will beat Trump in the e******n, if we have the misfortune of getting Trump as our nominee.

It must be a sign of the times that Conservatives are at each other throats in this fashion, deconstructing the Republican Party of America at the behest of their new leader and once again snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in the upcoming general. Disappointing because even though the two major political parties deserve dissolution for all these years of chicanery the political health of this nation needs a plurality of conservative and liberal thought to provide a healthy balance.
