Thank you liberals....this is what happens when you mix sexes in the military, especially in the Navy.

True sexual assaults are totally unacceptable, but sexual harassment charges can be make over a off color remark or even a compliment that the woman finds offensive. The other concern that should be discussed is the increase in male to male rape that has happened since homosexuals have been encouraged to "come out" and are often given preference in today"s military.

I believe women and the loud mouths of the NOW organization CAUSED our government to operate this way........anything good for a man is good for a woman. And NO WOMAN has to sign up for military service. NO WOMAN has to join the Navy. Now that they are being "abused", or when they want to hurt some man, they cry "abuse". I AM a woman and I don't want women abused as much as most people don't want women abused.............but if any individual woman wants to work on a ship filled with men, she is knowledgeably accepting the possibility of sexual abuse and she is not unaccountable. Of course men who abuse women should be punished, as should a woman who falsely accuses a man of abuse. But let's not put all the blame on the man or on Congress.......I do not believe the woman who puts herself in naval ships does so because she loves sailing.

It used to be the B****s yelling "prejudice" to get out of duty and disobey orders. A base I was on was locked down for 2 months and mps from all over the country had to enforce calm and a curfew. In the end we got African hair care products and magazines in the commissary and soul food in the cafeterias and soul service in the chapels. Soul food is awful and every bowling ally and rec hall on the base would be swamped on wedsdays. They protested so we got hamburger lines. The rest of us had to comply with hair cut rules but the B****s would spray a can of Afro sheen on their hair pack it down and stretch a nylon over their head and let it set up like plastic. they got a razor cut around their ears. after"work" they picked out their hair into enormous fluffy Afros. I don't know what it is like now. I do believe some of the women in uniform can be as crude and nasty as as any man. I once saw a flight of womens airforce march up to a chow hall and their female DI scream "When I yell parade rest I wanna hear 40 pussys sucking wind" That is a fact.

I knew a full Commander once, when iI was in the Navy, and he was the nicest and most harmless individual you would ever meet...totally dedicated to his wife and family. In the office he was in charge of, there was a real friendly and laid back atmosphere, with a mix of Navy personnel and civilian, male and female. One particular female civilian secretary was real friendly, and was one who liked to touch you on the arm, etc, when speaking to you. Not in a sexual way, just super friendly, and pretty liberal. Well, one day she came to work not in her usual friendly mood, had a fight with her husband or something, and when conversing with the Commander, he, like he had done many times, gave her an innocent friendly pat on the butt when they were finished, to help cheer her up. Well, to make a long story short, she filed a sexual harassment charge against him and that was the end of his career.

I only had one female work for me in the Navy, when I was the executive officer of a test facility. She was a single mother of three, and she caused me more paperwork than all of the 25 men that worked for me combined. She was always taking time off, or being sick with something. When I was visiting the head office one day, one of the other test site executive officers was complaining that he needed a storekeeper real bad, and couldn't get the detailer to send him one. This female sailor was a storekeeper, and I told him he would have a storekeeper the next day. I went back to my facility and told her to clean out her desk and report to the head office the next day. Well, about two weeks later my phone rings, and it is that same executive officer, and he says "you S.O.B!" He then says "I'm sending her back!" And, I said "no you're not and hung up!" he never liked me after that, for some reason. :D

As usual, you're so right, Tasine.

What this article doesn't address is sexual harassment by female officers against men, nor the large number of men who are raped by other men...more common than one would think in the military.

OMG!!! Has it really gotten that far removed from civilized women?! OMG! I was in the Army Nurse Corps and I was never mistreated, nor did I ever mistreat anyone. I loved my corpsmen! In the spiritual sense - not sexually. And I think they loved me. Of course that was decades ago. No one can tell me things are better now than then.......because society has fallen so far down the totem pole that it barely exists today. Were I of the younger generation I would want to go backward in time rather than forward.

Fertile ground for females populating a society reveling in the benefits of 'victimhood' and perceived prejudices.
This pretending game- women are equal to men in all things- has to be the most i***tic of many moves thrust upon an otherwise advanced society.

Progressives have a mental illness and we're not much better, allowing those morons to lead; especially in questions of security.
