A Gallup poll recently showed that conservatives are 6% more conservative than they were in 2001. Liberals, on the other hand are 18% more liberal than they were in 2001. Which way are the moderates swaying? The Gallup poll shows that moderates are 12% more conservative than they used to be. Why? The mass of Americans like change when things aren't going well but, too much change too quickly usually ends up causing a backlash. This is why neither Republicans nor Democrats are able to keep the presidency past one president. When ever a Republican or Democratic president gets in office, they try to push as much liberalism or conservatism as possible down Americans' throats. It ends up causing most Americans to have an uncomfortable feeling with either side. If both parties would try to put a moderate in office, the back and forth swing would probably stop or, at least, happen less often. Currently, democrats have pushed too much change down Americans' throats. That means it's unlikely that Hillary will win this e******n regardless of who she runs against. It makes it even worse that few Americans trust her.

1. Affordable Care Act
2. Same Sex Marriage
3. Support of T***sexuality
4. Denail of T***sraciality
5. Addition of P to the L**T icon(P stands for pansexual or pedosexual)
6. Extreme Partisanship between congress and the White House
7. A sense of liberal totalitarianship:
a-Legislative decisions by the president, powers only meant for
Congress.
b - Extra-judicial decisions made by the US Surpreme Court
8. Closemidedness for opposing viewpoints to the point of limiting free
speech.
9. Judicial, economic, legislative assault on small business owners,
average people for religious beliefs that don't fall in line with the
L**TP viewpoint.
10. IRS scandal involving the attack on Tea Party nonprofit
organizations, FBI brochure labeling Tea Party as extremists, FBI
Powerpoint presentation labeling evangelicals as terrorists.

You are reading the chart wrong. The chart you are showing is one on democrats and people who lean towards being democrat.

In 2001:

43% were liberal
35% were moderate
20% were conservative

In 2015:

53% were liberal
31% were moderate
14% were Conservative

What is shows is that there was a shift in the democratic party towards liberalism and a decline in conservatism.

Now for Republicans and leaning towards republicans its,

In 2001:

57% were conservative
32% were moderate
9% were liberal

in 2015:

53% were conservative
34% were moderate
11% were liberal

So in reading the charts the democrats became more liberal and less conservative and the republicans because slightly less conservative and a little more liberal.

This was on social issues.

As for your interpretation it is completely off base--which isn't surprising considering that you didn't even know what you were reading...

These kinds of polls are essentially irrelevant. The history of the last 75 years or so, clearly shows a pattern that is still in evidence. The party the President belongs to, causes a shift in the partisan makeup of the Congress, whereby the Congress ends up in the hands of the opposing party. Then a President from the opposing party is elected - and the pattern is repeated.

What is relevant, is the pattern - and why this pattern persists. The fact is, the people have never felt the Government has met their needs, or responded appropriately to current events and turned to the opposing party in a desperate and ultimately futile attempt to force change. The fundamental failure of the people to understand politics, has lead to this repeated pattern of failed administrations and failed Congresses.

The pressure applied by the people, with these repeated attempts to force change, has lead to an ever widening gap between the two major party's, who's sole focus has been in KEEPING power and control - in other words - trying to circumvent the pattern and keep the people from throwing them out. Neither party is adept at responding to the CAUSES of this, now standard, paradigm. Instead of responding to the desires of the majority of Americans, each party panders to it's v**er base, hoping that their numbers will be larger then the opposing party's v**er base, in the midterm e******ns, thus keeping them in power.

The fundamental failure of both the Democratic party and the Republican party is this; they ignore the unaffiliated v**er ( formerly called 'independents' ), who are by far the larger v****g block than democrats and republicans combined. The unaffiliated v**er list is growing, while the party's v**er base is shrinking. That means, that by pandering to their base ONLY, illustrates their disenfranchising of the majority of v**ers - who respond by kicking them out.

If you don't think this is true, consider this; how many Republicans are satisfied with the performance of the current GOP controlled House and Senate? Then compare the satisfaction rating of unaffiliated v**ers with the same. The current Congress is again pandering to it's base, and since that base represents only 25% of v**ers - the unaffiliated v**ers will again throw them out. The majority of Americans have grown tired of being dismissed and ignored.

To me it seems to all boil down to logic & common sense...we have had about 8 years of drastic change toward the ONE WORLD ORDER type of government shoved down our throats & a great lessening of our traditional principles of God, Liberty & Freedom...& we want to go back to that.

Well, everyone was informed what and who Obama was, the ones who pushed it on the side didn't want to know through vetting. Many figured because he was black there would be a more understanding of the issues, WRONG!

For those that like and enjoy the ideology and policies of this administration, there is no vetting to be done. Elect Hillary or Sanders and it will continue or most likely exacerbate it.

Bottom line, it's the v**ers fault, can't blame anything but the v**ers low information.
