Interesting to note, though, that according to these 2013 statistics published by the FBI, the raw numbers of white-on-white murders exceeds those of black-on-black. Further, murders by b****s represent less than 14% of murders against white people.

Violence is of course a complex issue in our culture, and my preference is to look at the problem through cultural and economic lenses rather than purely race. Regardless of the race of the victim or the perpetrator, we have a real problem with violence as an acceptable resolution to even the smallest of conflicts.

I take no issue with what you stated, k*****g without cause is blind to color, but with that being said........let us not forget to play the percentages when dealing with specific races, their numbers versus the numbers of shootings and murders do show a higher rate than than any other with a far smaller percentage of people there to do the shooting and k*****g. There is a problem when 13% is responsible for almost 50% of the murders, a problem that needs addressing. ..and quick.

I see that the black offenders number about 2700 people and the white offenders are about the same number. But b****s are only about 12 percent of the population so they should have only 12 percent of the offenders. From this set of numbers they appear to be eight times more likely to commit murder than w****s? Is this what you intended to point out?

Looking only at % to total, boofhead, does not get at the root cause of violence; it's much more complex than that, and I believe that race is a misleading marker for murder.

If it were, one could logically put the N**is, perhaps the w****st group ever, at the top of the list for perpetrating mass murder on their own race.

The fact that a large portion of black violence is perpetrated against their own race is more an indication of how culturally segregated our communities remain. The poverty rate in the U.S. among b****s, which I believe to be a major factor in violence, is nearly 3 times that of caucasians, and in some states even higher. When opportunities for lawful success are unavailable, crime will rise in any community.

THe most striking statistic is that men far outnumber women when it comes to committing murder with a firearm. Perhaps only women shold be armed. But then again the lady in Florida provided her tot with a loaded gun and look what he did.

Gun control wont fix anything Paul, period. There are more gun laws on the books that aren't enforced. I have heard many people claim control will stop the mass shootings which is total hogwash. When someone is intent on causing mass destruction, one way or another they will do it. Look at the mass shootings, all have mental problems, yet we have a law preventing people with mental disabilities from owning a gun, we have laws saying felons can not own a gun. has any of these laws stopped the madness? No it hasn't nor will making more laws stop it. It all boils down to the person. Get to the root problem in the person and deal with that.
