The story is fictional, but the message/lesson is very real for all.

One morning a man had just finished his prayer, requesting of the Lord to learn of his Wisdom, and Heart. In hopes of accomplishing this, the man decided to set out into the world.
No long after he began his journey, another gentleman appeared beside him. He claimed to be an Angel, sent to assist him in learning God's Wisdom and Heart. So they walked together and talked of many things.
Towards evening time, the man and the Angel turned to a quaint looking Inn for lodging through the night. At the counter the Angel stepped forth stating they did not have much money but could pay what the had for a room. The Inn Keeper growled at them saying the Inn was full. the Angel stated he did not see a sign outside to that effect and would gladly give him what money they had for just some type of shelter. The Inn Keeper took all the Angels money, grabbed two blankets,, and grumbled for them to follow him.
Down the stairs to the basement they descended. As the man and the Angel tried to sleep on the basement floor, no words were spoken. However, the man did happen to notice the Angel tapping against the wall. Soon a small chunk of cement fell away to a glow of a strain of gold. the Angel quickly took the piece of cement and fastened it back into its place, completely covering up the gold. Without any comments, they fell asleep. By early morning, the Inn Keeper woke them and told them to be on their way.
In the new day, finding interesting things to talk about, they continued along their walk. Then, again, night began to fall. The Angel took the man down a narrow dirt road to a small ranch where singing and laughing filled the air around it.
Again, the Angel stepped up to the door where a bright and jolly woman met then at their threshold. The Angel explained to the woman their need for shelter through the night, but of their unfortunate lack of having money. At that moment, a kind faced gentleman welcomed them both in. Being warmed by the fireplace, the two travelers enjoyed pleasant conversation, teas, c*****rs, butter , and cheese, as well as the singing and joy of the couple and their children. The man eventually asked what they produced on their small ranch, and was told of the woman's beloved cow always abundant in milk. The woman beamed as she and her husband expressed all the dairy products they produced and sold for their living, being so blessed by the Lord.
Warmed on soft cots before the fireplace, the man fell happily asleep. By morning the two were wakened by heavenly humming, biscuits baking, gravy making, and eggs frying in a pan. Finally, with welcomes to stay another night, as well as come back any time, the man and the Angel were on their way.
As they walked, the joy and happiness from the family continued to fill their hearts. They laughed as they journeyed until the man told the Angel: I think I'm beginning to understand. Just a way further and the Angel replied: Well, I think then we should turn back.
Reaching again the dirt road, the man asked the Angel if they could visit the small ranch one last time. As they reached the door, the man stepped up to knock, but heard only weeping and crying instead. the door opened to the couple leaning and holding on to one another, sobbing a weak Hello. The man asked: My God, what possibly could have happened? He was told that not long after their departure, the woman went to feed and milk the cow, but found that her cow had died sometime during the night. That livelihood gone, their grief was deep. the Angel said to the man: we must be on our way.
Soon, with confusion and anger, the man faced the Angel and said: What kind of Angel are you? You found gold in the Inn Keepers basement, but hid it so not to be discovered. He could have become rich so to be happy. Then, you allow that nice family's cow to die, only to make life harder! How could God do this?
The Angel calmly stood his ground, yet boldly stated: I am an Angel sent of God to help you learn of "His" Wisdom and Heart. The first night when we stayed in the basement of the Inn, the Inn Keeper had no good will or joy within him. The riches from the gold would have only made him worse; to possibly spend an eternity in hell. He's better off just the way we left him.
Next, when we stayed at the small ranch, we experienced the families joy and goodwill. Their love for one another is full, their faith in the Lord strong and true.
Then, as everyone slept during the night, the Angel of Death came for the woman, but I sent him to take the cow instead.

I don't h**e him, I despise him. My religious believe has nothing to do with government. Get a life and dont worry about or interject your opinion into mine. Since it upsets you so much I will close my comment to you in saying..
God Bless America.

How misguided you are! H**e is not learned, h**e is demonstrated by action, you apparently have a lot of h**e in you. Please explain how that story was trying to teach hatred for the presidency. Also, why it was a good selling point for separation of Church and State. Neither were referenced in the story. Isn't this the stated purpose of this site - interjection of ones personal views.

You are all clueless... The posters last line was an opinion... In that opinion he compared the president to the angle of death... its call symbolism ... Besides that I liked the story too... it is very easy to inject ones own personal views into religion or fictional stories with a moral. The posters opinion was plain and clear.

I disagree, the story was making a point and not stating an opinion. His point was, the takers (ref: Obama) can have what material things they feel they are entitled too. Just leave the things that are valued most in the story, things that can't be bought, but must be defended, Freedom, Liberty, Justice. Takers (ref: Obama) defend nothing, but expect everything. That is my point and my opinion.

You are twisted. However, I have read some of your other post and see eye to eye with you. When I read the story, Obama never entered my mind until you interjected it.
