Just because we CAN do something, doesn't mean we should. A lesson we just can't seem to get. ANY electronic device can be hacked, spoofed, or altered. There is absolutely no SANE reason why the old paper b****t is obsolete - and they are cheaper.

That being said, we could use new technology to reduce or eliminate v***r f***d. When signed in to v**e, your picture is taken. A camera at the b****t box ( assuming a return to paper b****ts ), uses facial recognition software to ensure that is YOU v****g, then ensures that only one b****t per person is used. Streaming the camera feeds limits any possible shenanigans.

Mail ALL registered v**ers absentee b****ts so they may v**e in the privacy of their homes and return them via the US Mail to v**er central where they can be counted and checked against the registry, under supervision, for legality and accuracy and thereby leave a paper trail for checking of any a******lities. A less costly, easier, more efficient way to v**e that would also allow the aged and the infirmed greater access to the v****g process. All return b****ts must meet the deadline for return. If you didn't get a b****t, you could pick one up at your local post office, like a tax form. No machines, no dead or double v****g. Just a simple process that leaves a accurate paper trail.
