I'm very disappointed but not really surprised.

Elaborate? Certainly. The right wing comments are making sense. This oppresses my dialogue. Favoritism for t***h should not outweigh the need to make a point.

I think "inhibit" is the word you are searching for.

Had it been inhibit, I would have used it. As it is farcical, the word oppress adds far better to the parody. Gives the necessary and overwhelming duress which is not present. "inhibit" could be tiresome paperwork.

I suppose I'm not that "technical" about terminology. ha. I am so amazed and in awe of how far we've come in achieving our principle of e******y. The world and we ourselves would not have realized how far we have come if we hadn't had the luck of electing Obama, and I do not believe extent of opposition and name calling regarding Obama are motivated by r****m but by political extremism. Oh, by the way, although I was a civil rights fanatic from the day of the Supreme Court's desegregation decision, outspoken at church and among my high school classmates in Fountain City, TN, Obama was not my choice--Hillary Clinton was, a matter of geopolitical positions of the 2 choices. I still have some issues with Obama-Biden on degree of determination in geopolitical action. Also by the way, I consider it fortunate in some ways that the President is from the over-cautious liberal faction in geopolitics in that only a Pres. from that faction could shut that faction's potential howling about NSA or drone warfare or East geopolitical actions that may have to be taken & will be if necessary...a matter of political credibility, just as the deal with China Nixon did was possible only from a GOP Pres. with anti-c*******t reputation. America has been so lucky in developments and timings from 1776 onward...actually back to the first settlements. And back into British history where developments led to the ideas and developments in America. And for the future of the world. America and its journey and culminations are lucky. We little appreciate what America is to the history of world civilization or there wouldn't be so much petty & bickering, so extreme and ranting in political matters.
